Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Vital Worklife EAP is a confidential counseling and support service that helps employees deal with personal or work-related issues that may be affecting their mental health, job performance, or well-being. The NCMS Plan partners with Vital Worklife EAP as a benefit for all members at no additional cost.

Vital Worklife EAP provides a range of services including counseling, coaching, and resources to help employees address a variety of issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship problems, financial concerns, and work-related stress. The program is designed to provide employees with a safe and confidential space to talk about their concerns, and to provide them with the tools and resources they need to improve their mental health and well-being.

Vital Worklife EAP Services

FOR MEMBERS:

The goal of Vital Worklife EAP is to help employees navigate difficult situations and improve their overall quality of life. The program is often offered at no cost to NCMS Plan members and their friends and family. Vital Worklife EAP is a valuable resource for those who may be struggling with personal or work-related challenges.

Service Summary:

  1. The Program is offered at no additional cost to NCMS Plan Members including their friends and family.
  2. Unlimited phone consultations are available 24/7 along with 5 free Virtual or in-person counseling sessions per incident. Virtual or In-Person visits are subject to normal business hours.
  3. Peer Coaching for Leaders, Providers, Nurses, and Educators
  4. Free 30 minute consultation with an attorney by phone or in person- Discounted rates for further representation
  5. Unlimited phone consultations with a financial counselor
  6. Identity theft prevention & Support, Living Will making software and more!

FOR ADMINS:

Vital Worklife EAP supports administrators and managers by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to manage their teams effectively and create a healthy, productive work environment. Any Administrators with Active NCMS Plan Benefits are eligible.

Service Summary:

  1. Consultations: Vital Worklife provides managers and administrators with access to experienced consultants who can offer guidance and support on a range of issues, such as managing employee performance, handling conflict, and addressing workplace stress. These consultations are confidential and can help managers navigate challenging situations.
  2. Critical incident support: Vital Worklife provides immediate support to managers and administrators following a critical incident, such as a workplace accident, natural disaster, or act of violence. This support can help leaders manage the aftermath of the incident and support their employees during a difficult time.
  3. Leadership coaching: Vital Worklife offers coaching services to help managers and administrators improve their leadership skills, develop their emotional intelligence, and enhance their communication abilities. These coaching sessions are designed to help leaders become more effective in their roles and support the growth and development of their teams.
  4. Wellness resources: Vital Worklife provides managers and administrators with a range of wellness resources, including webinars, articles, and other educational materials. These resources can help leaders promote a culture of wellness and support the mental and emotional wellbeing of their employees.
